Vaccine Requirements

Certain immunizations are required by the USCIS. If you are not able to produce acceptable proof that you have had the immunizations or the diseases, you will be required to get vaccines. 

CDC publishes information about vaccinations in general and information about the vaccine requirements for immigration purposes at http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/.

Following vaccines are generally required  in adults over 18 years of age:
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap)
  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox) 
  • Influenza (During season - October 1st through March 31st)
  • Pneumococcal (for 65 years and older)
  • Covid-19 Vaccination

The following vaccinations may be required for immigration purposes depending on your age and sex:

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza
  • Influenza type b (Hib)
  • Measles
  • Meningococcal
  • Mumps
  • Pneumococcal
  • Pertussis
  • Polio
  • Rotavirus
  • Rubella
  • Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
